Radhanagar beach

Radhanagar beach

Beach No. 7 on Havelock — two kilometres of powder-white sand, water that shifts from emerald to sapphire, and sunsets that turn the entire bay molten gold. TIME wasn't exaggerating.

01

the evening show

Radhanagar faces west, which makes the evenings the main event. Arrive an hour before sunset, walk north where the crowd thins out, and stay until the last colour leaves the sky. The water stays swimmable in season — gentle waves, no undertow, safe for children and hesitant swimmers.

02

powder sand, quiet mornings

There's a small forest behind the beach — mahua and pandanus trees that provide shade in the afternoon heat. A couple of snack shacks sell coconut water and grilled corn. No water sports on the beach itself — that's the point. Just sand, sea, and silence.

03

how we include it

Every package routes through Radhanagar on the Havelock leg — usually late afternoon with a complimentary beach photoshoot. Pair it with Kalapathar the next morning for two completely different moods on the same island.
